thanK you! The network reset so far has been the fix. I had reset my network on my BMW thinking that was the problem but was having the Bluetooth issues with other products with my iPhone. I have CarPlay again and my AirPods are connecting on day 2 from reset.

You are welcome. Excellent job troubleshooting this!
I have down every single reboot, turn off, turn on, disconnect, reconnect multiple times just in order for it to connect that one time then later the issues is back, for my iPhone 16pro to my AirPods Pro’s and to my CarPlay in my BMW and I continue to have issues with my Bluetooth on my phone staying connected to these devices. My car went so far as to say my IPhone 16pro is not compatible which for the last two year it has been just fine. So i beginning to think there is an issues with my IPhone’s Bluetooth. Since it is having difficulty continuing connecting to my apple device.
