Is there an aftermarket for barely used iMacs that sit too high on a desk?

I purchased an iMac with a fixed stand and it sits much higher on the desk than I expected. Even with the chair at maximum height, I am getting neck strain. Really surprised at how high it is. It is over 30 days since I purchased, so no returns possible. The box came with zero instructions and I had to call 3 times for stupid questions just to turn it on. I do not have an adjustable desk and the chair is at max height. What is the aftermarket like if I just want to sell the thing used and get a less pretty, better ergonomic desktop computer?

The aftermarket or secondary market for used Macs is good.

You might sell via eBay or other similar market.

The newest iMacs command the best prices, as you would expect.

If you do decide to go the route of selling your Mac, make certain that you prepare it properly before you let it go. Otherwise that computer will forever be associated with your Apple Account and the new owner will not be able to set it up and customize it properly as their own.

If you're looking for a lower replacement for your iMac consider the following: a 10 Core Mac Mini M4 with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD ($1299 US) with a 32" LG 4k monitor with speakers ($318 US) from Amazon.com) is $1517 US which is $512 less than a similarly configured new 24" iMac ($2029 US). Keep your keyboard and mouse from your current Mac for use with the Mini.

I got the above Mini with a 32" LG 4K monitor w/speakers for the same price as a 27" monitor (didn't know the Mini had a speaker). There are many monitors available in 27" size for about $100 US to $500 US depending on what features you want. The prices are before tax, tariffs and the Strait of Hormuz. You can get monitors that can be lowered on it's stand so it'll be more to your liking.

I had an 2017 i7 iMac with an SSD boot drive and the new Mini runs circles around it. So much faster.

You can use the keyboard and mouse from your current iMac.
