When Apple Music gets stuck syncing your library, it is usually because of a poor internet connection, a temporary glitch with your Apple Account, or a large queue of files trying to update at once.

Quick Fixes to Try

  • Check your internet: Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to make sure your connection is stable.
  • Restart your device: Turn your phone or computer completely off and back on again
  • Sign out and back in: Go to your device settings, sign out of your Apple Account, and sign back in.
  • Check system status: Visit the Apple System Status page to see if the Apple Music service is down.

Apparently Apple is having some issue with their syncing. I don't even know. I did the same thing earlier in the week. My music wasn't being added to my library properly after I clicked add. So I tried resyncing it and then everything got deleted. I still have my music on my laptop but gosh - its just so so bad and problematic on my phone. Check out Apple - Support - System Status to see the server status often. It was apparently on yellow for the whole week.

Hope this helps or atleast calms your mind down. As an avid music lover - I was SUPER STRESSED until I saw that status check. Lots of love <33*
