If there is a chance that bad guys have gotten into your Apple Account (e.g., through a "phishing" scam), see:

If you are in the U.S., you may also want to review the information at

This includes information on how to get the three major credit bureaus to freeze your credit (and optionally also place a fraud alert) to make it harder for bad guys trying to take out credit in your name.

I am so sorry you are going through this painful loss. If you lost your data, money, or account access due to a scam, cyberattack, or technical failure, responsibility usually falls on the bad actors who committed the fraud, or sometimes a platform if their security failed. You can report online fraud at the local police department
