Apple Calendar on iPad/iPhone shows one-day events as two-day in Alberta

Apple Calendar incorrectly displays one-day all-day events as two-day events during specific future standard-time periods in Alberta.

Starting November 1, 2026 my ipad & iphone are showing 1 day events as 2 day events, this stops for events after March 14, 2027, then starts up again for events after November 7, 2027, then stops again for events after March 12, 2028. And to note this does not appear to be an issue come November 2028 - all 1 day events are still 1 day events.

I checked my iCloud.com calendar and it looks fine.

The problem originally appeared on my iPads, but after my iPhone updated to iOS 26.6, the iPhone began exhibiting the same behavior.

Please try this

Force Resync iCloud: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud > Show All > Calendar, toggle it Off, choose Keep on My Device, wait a minute, and turn it back On.

Thank you - this worked I’d say for 95% of my all-day events - there were 4 of my events it didn’t change, they remained as 2 day events - I even went into each of those 4 events and attempted to edit them individually changing the end date but that wouldn’t accept so I ultimately just deleted those 4 events and re-added them.

The one thing that didn’t change were all the Holiday Calendar entries. I display a gmail calendar named “Holidays in Canada” and then I subscribe to a Other calendar named ‘Canadian Holidays” all those events still show as 2 day events for the dates I stated in my original message - not sure if there is anything I could try to fix those?
