Solution for Search Baron redirects in Google Chrome

I was able to remove the Search Baron hijacker (Google searches go to Bing or sometimes Yahoo). I did all the things others recommended, but it did not go away until I cleared out my Google Chrome profile memory.

Google Chrome Settings > You and Google > Select your profile > Chrome Data in Your Account > Delete (blue button on the bottom)

No redirects since then. After rebooting a few times. Hope it's working. Seems to be!
