Apple Watch not tracking distance for first km of Outdoor Bike Ride

On my last two bike rides, Apple Watch was stuck at 0 distance until I was 1 km into my bike ride. When I got home and looked at my route, I can see it captured the route from the very beginning, but in both instances it only started logging distance 1 km into my route. Have checked all my settings per comments in other community pages and all are fine. Have also force reset the watch. The result is that the first km that shows up is half normal speed and my total distance is 1 km too short. Anyone else experienced the same issue?
