Magic keyboard malfunctioning after iOS 26.6 upgrade to ipad Pro.

After the update to iOS 26.6 my magic keyboard started malfunctioning. The QWERTYUIO keys are not responding. Can someone help fix the issue?

Ensure the signal contacts are clear on both the iPad and on the keyboard, force-restart the iPad, and test again.

When you force-restart, hold the last button pressing until you see the Apple logo, continuing to hold past any sliders that might appear.

If the problem persists, there’s probably a hardware problem with the keyboard. That would be a discussion with Apple Support.

Your footer indicates the iPadOS beta, while your text indicates iPadOS 26.6. I’ll here assume the latter.
