iPhone 15 Pro portrait mode not working after iOS update

I’d first restart the iPhone, then open Camera and try Portrait mode again with a well-lit subject a few feet away. Portrait mode should show on-screen guidance and the lighting effect turns yellow when it’s ready.

If it still doesn’t work, check whether the regular Photo mode can focus and take pictures normally with both the front and rear cameras. That would help narrow down whether this is limited to Portrait mode or a broader camera issue. Apple also recommends removing any case or magnetic camera accessory while testing.
