Did you try to force restart your iPhone? That would be the easiest fix.

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

Does the cellular data work and Wi-Fi does not?

In that case have a look at the troubleshooting in this article:

If you can't connect to Wi-Fi on your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Also make sure not to have any VPN or Firewall enabled.

Can you connect to other Wi-Fi networks?

The ultimate step would be resetting the network settings on your device, this resets all Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings.

Settings -> General -> Transfer or Reset -> Reset -> Reset Network Settings.

Any restrictions set up on your iPhone, or is it a managed device?

If you check the settings for Mobile Service, is Mobile data enabled, and can you see details about your carrier in the section below that, for example Network Selection and Mobile Data Network-> Mobile Data -> APN, Username, etc?

If you connect your iPhone to your computer, using the original Apple USB cable, does the computer recognise the iPhone?

If yes, can you reset the iPhone to factory settings and set it up as a new device, without using the latest backup?

This would be a way to rule out a software issue.

If your computer does not recognise your iPhone, you should visit an Authorised Apple Service Provider or Apple Store next to your place and ask them to diagnose your device.

HI, Yes, I can restart my phone; that's not been impacted. I can call out and receive calls.

But, NO network works, as my phone gives a message saying eithre "your device is offline" or "You are currently offline".. or I get a message saying "No internet connection..." even though I can clearly see that my network is visible and shows ads being active...

I cannot connect my phone to any other device (like my computer when I tried to backup thigns last night), or to my car's USB cord I use in the car.

Now I have reset my phone, I have reset the network connections, but folks it does NOT matter WHERE I am, or using what network; the phone does not connect to anything, to ANY network, and I have gone to try at work - no good, at the hospital where my husband gets treated - no go, at the doctor's office - no go! It does not connect to my computer to back up; NOTHING sees it!
