How to permanently disable split screen option on Mac?

The split screen option on my Mac is driving me crazy. Is there a way for me to permanently disable that option? I really hate it!!

You cannot completely delete Apple's core Split View or window tiling code from macOS, but you can stop windows from accidentally snapping or splitting by turning off edge-dragging and tile features in your System Settings

Turn Off Automatic Window Tiling (macOS Sequoia and Later)

If windows snap into a split screen when you drag them near the edges, disable the drag-to-tile feature:

  • Open the Apple menu () in the top-left corner.
  • Select System Settings.
  • Click Desktop & Dock in the sidebar.
  • Scroll down to the Windows section.
  • Toggle off "Drag windows to left or right edge of screen to tile".
  • Toggle off "Drag windows to menu bar to fill screen".
  • (Optional) Turn on "Hold ⌥ key while dragging windows to tile" so it only happens if you deliberately hold the Option key.
