If your iPad is making unexpected noises or not operating as expected, try a forced-restart - as this will often clear an isolated software issue:

Hello~ In addition to the prior information posted…what does this “beeping” sound like? Is it possibly happening while trying to charge your iPad only. If so make sure the charging cable is firmly plugged in and charging port is clean. If this is the case try a different cable.
