New MacBook Air - all websites take a really long time to load in Safari.
Running Tahoe 26.6.1; don't have any extensions installed. Also don't have any additional virus protection software, VPN, etc. that might impact load times.
Is this normal & what I should expect from Safari on Mac? Don't have these issues on my phone or iPad...

Clear website data: Open Safari Settings, go to Privacy, click Manage Website Data, and remove all stored data.
Disable iCloud Private Relay: If you use iCloud+, go to System Settings > your Apple ID > iCloud > Private Relay and turn it off temporarily to test speed.
Check for IPv6 issues: Go to System Settings > Network > Wi-Fi > Details, select TCP/IP, and see if configuring IPv6 manually or link-local helps.
Test in Safe Mode: Restart your Mac while holding the Shift key to see if an external piece of software is causing the slowdown.

Thanks - tried most of these (didn't try safe mode) & don't see a change; however, now that I'm watching this more closely I'm noticing it's not happening with all websites, so I'll monitor further to see if there are specific types of websites where this behavior is more prevalent.
