Album artwork changed after syncing

That can happen if the artwork stored with the music on your computer doesn’t match the artwork the Music app is using after the sync.

I’d first check whether the wrong covers are only on the iPhone, or whether they’ve also changed in the Music app on the Mac or PC you synced from.

If you’re using Apple Music or Sync Library, that matters too, since the library and artwork can be updated through iCloud rather than only through a cable sync. Apple explains Sync Library here: Use Sync Library with your Apple Music subscription - Apple Support

Are these your own imported albums, iTunes Store purchases, or Apple Music downloads? That would help narrow it down.

That helps narrow it down. Since the artwork changed right after the iMazing backup/sync and iTunes didn’t correct it, I wouldn’t keep syncing for now.

Before changing or removing any music, make sure the original music library and artwork are still intact on the computer. Apple’s normal computer-to-iPhone sync copies music from that library to the iPhone.

One thing I’d check: do the incorrect covers belong to other albums that are already in your library, or are they completely unrelated images? That would help tell whether this is an artwork/database mix-up on the iPhone rather than the source artwork itself.

Since it’s only happening on the iPhone, I’d avoid syncing it again with both iMazing and iTunes for now. Using two different sync methods makes it harder to tell which one is changing the artwork.

First, restart the iPhone and check the Music app again. If the covers are still wrong, which program was used for the last music sync before the artwork changed — iMazing or iTunes?

I also wouldn’t remove and resync the music yet, especially if any of it exists only on the phone.
