Apple AirPods case voice

My wife and I have Apple AirPods Pro 2. The case search function doesn't work for me via the locator, but this function works on my wife's headphones. I decided to try to pair the headphones from her phone - it didn't work either. I unpaired her headphones and re-paired them to her phone - now this function doesn't work either.

Try this

Step 1: Remove from Find My

  1. Open the Find My app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the Devices tab and select your AirPods Pro 2.
  3. Scroll up and tap Remove This Device, then confirm.
  4. Go to Settings > Bluetooth, tap the "i" icon next to your AirPods, and select Forget This Device.
  5. Go to Settings > [Your Name / Apple ID] > iCloud, and ensure Passwords & Keychain is turned on.

Verify Location Services is on via Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services, and check that Find My is set to While Using the App with Precise Location enabled.

Then reset the AirPods

  1. Put your AirPods in their charging case, close the lid and wait 30 seconds.
  2. On an iPhone or iPad that’s paired with your AirPods, go to Settings, then tap Bluetooth:
    • If your AirPods appear in the My Devices list, tap the More Info button next to your AirPods, tap Forget This Device, then tap again to confirm.
    • If your AirPods don’t appear in the list, continue to the next step.
  1. Open the lid of your charging case.
  2. Press and hold the setup button on the back of the case for about 15 seconds.
  3. When the status light on the front of the case flashes amber, then flashes white, you can follow the steps on your device’s screen to reconnect your AirPods.
