Converting a video frame to a photo in Photos on iPad

I can’t figure out how to turn a frame in a video to a photo. Searches turn up old apple support community answers that seem outdated. I’m on an iPad using the Photos app.

To turn a video frame into a photo directly inside the native Photos app on your iPad, open the video, scrub or pause on the exact frame you want, tap the three-dot menu icon in the top-right corner, and select Save Video Frame as Photo.

The Photos forum has turned into a minefield, when all photos forums have been joined into one large board for the app Photos on all platforms. It would not be so bad, if the app where fully identical on all platforms, but as it is now, we have to be very cautious with every step we take, until there is no longer a difference between the versions of Photos on all platforms.
