Dark mode in ASC
Is there a way to enable Dark mode in ASC using Safari on macOS Sequoia?

Sure. For Safari, two current options in the Mac App Store are Noir – Dark Mode for Safari and Dark Reader for Safari. Both create a dark theme for sites that don’t provide one themselves.
I’d probably try Noir first and allow it only for discussions.apple.com rather than giving it access to every website. Safari lets you control an extension’s website access under Safari > Settings > Extensions.
There’s also an old ASC user tip called “Minimal CSS tweaks for ASC” but it dates back to 2018, so I wouldn’t expect its CSS to work unchanged with the current ASC layout.
For a quick solution, a Safari dark-mode extension is probably the least fiddly route.

As far as I know, ASC itself still doesn’t offer a Dark Mode setting.
Setting System Settings > Appearance > Dark will put macOS and Safari’s interface into Dark Mode, but it won’t force a website to use dark colors if the site doesn’t support them. Apple describes Dark Mode as applying to macOS and apps that support the appearance.
So for ASC, you’d need a Safari extension or custom CSS to change the page itself. There have been user-created CSS tweaks for ASC, but that isn’t a built-in Apple option.
I agree — that much white can be pretty harsh.
Thanks, Downloaded Noir extension and is an eye relief to be in ASC Dark mode.
And is not too expensive.
Show me if you know any CSS tweaks or Safari extensions.
You’re welcome! Glad Noir did the trick. ASC is definitely easier on the eyes that way.
