Use personal Apple ID for Health and Fitness on work iPhone and Apple Watch

Hi! I have a personal phone (iPhone 16 pro) and a work phone (iPhone 16). Both have their own phone number and Apple ID. I also have two Apple Watches, one paired with each phone so I can see work notifications when I’m at work and personal ones when I’m not.

I would like to have my personal Apple ID associated with the health and fitness apps on my work phone and work watch for better continuity of health tracking.

I have my personal account signed in for media and purchases, so I am able to use my Apple Music subscription and library on the work phone. The main Apple ID (the one at to top of the setting menu) is my work Apple account on my work phone and my personal for the personal phone, which is why I believe the health and fitness apps are behaving separately between the two phones/watches, while the App Store, podcasts, and Apple Music are shared.

Is there a way to have my personal health and fitness accounts on my work phone without changing the Apple ID that is signed in? Thank you!

No, there is no way to sync Health and Fitness data separately from the main account signed into your device. Apple ties Health data, Activity rings, and workouts directly to the primary Apple ID at the top of the Settings menu. Unlike Media & Purchases, you cannot log into a secondary Apple ID specifically for the Health app.
