Apple Music app on PC won't log in, but web version works

I’d try signing out of any Apple services on the PC first, then restart the Apple Music app and sign in again. Also make sure the app and Windows are fully updated. Since the web version works, it sounds more like an issue with the PC app, cached login data, or Apple account authentication rather than the subscription itself. Reinstalling the Apple Music app can also help if the login still fails.

I removed my pc from my trusted/recognised devices on my phone then de-authorised and re authorised it and it fixed it! Hopefully this helps someone else.

Yeah, it's an ongoing issue with the Apple Music app for windows.

It either just stays trying to log in forever, or simply exists the log in window without actually logging in.

The most we can do is send Apple feedback at Feedback - Apple Music - Apple and hope they fix it in a future update.

Mine is just caught in a constant loop of asking for my username and password and then just not logging me in...
