Flashes of Red while using CarPlay and Waze

When I’m using CarPlay with the Waze app the screen in my car has a red strip that flashes from left to right. Others have asked about this because it’s not specific to a particular vehicle and they’ve had problems as well. Apple couldn’t connect to my phone to run diagnostics which in itself seems to be a problem. I’ve had 4 different phones since the ios18 update. I’ve had problems since then with various things. We’re currently in ios26 and still having problems. Like my phone goes into SOS mode all the time while my husband’s android works just fine no matter where we are(same wireless account). Verizon has told me to just dump Apple and get an android. I just want my phone to work correctly.
