How do I locate a missing left AirPod?

Apple provides an easy way to locate missing devices via their Find My app, including individual AirPods. Here's how to do that:

1. Open the Find My app.
2. Choose the "Devices" tab.
3. You should see the individual AirPods listed under the AirPods case in the devices list. Select the missing left AirPod.
4. You should see its location on the map.
5. If it is nearby, you can select "Play Sound" as you look around.

If Find My shows that AirPod as being "Offline" or "No location available", you might be able to see its last location and time of last location recording in the devices list. If it is truly lost, it will likely remain there. Let people there know of it and they might help you search.
