AirPods stuck on flashing white light

My AirPods are stuck with a flashing white light and do not appear when I try to connect them. However, if I remove the right AirPod and perform a normal factory reset, they appear on my iPhone, but they still won’t connect and show “Connection Unsuccessful.” How can I fix this issue?

To fix your AirPods when they show a flashing white light, fail to pair together, or give a "Connection Unsuccessful" error, you need to clear the charging contacts, perform a full multi-device power cycle, and execute a proper dual-bud reset following this link for the instructions How to reset your AirPods and AirPods Pro - Apple Support
