Restricted websites and settings continually disappear from Screen Time.

Hi, anyone know how to resolve that Screen Time continually resets/erases my changes? I'm trying to use Screen Time to limit functionality and websites on my kid devices and this issue is specially annoying with the restricted websites as we put a long list and re-entering the list takes time. I usually make all changes on macbook, then check on iphone they are there, but next day or day after they disappear and I fix it only for the cycle to repeat. All devices, my kid's and mine, are on the latest OS (26.6.x) which I thought would make things easier but no. Any ideas? more resetting devices in a specific order? do I just wait for OS 27 and pray?

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 26.6

Since the restrictions are syncing at first and then disappearing later, I wouldn’t keep resetting the devices. Apple says Screen Time settings for a family should sync as long as all devices are updated, which you’ve already done.

I’d make one small test instead: add just one blocked website from Settings > Screen Time > [child’s name] > Content & Privacy Restrictions > App Store, Media, Web & Games > Web Content, then check whether that same entry survives for a day or two.

If even a single restriction disappears again, that points more to a Screen Time/Family Sharing sync problem than anything wrong with your list. At that point I’d report it to Apple rather than repeatedly rebuilding the restrictions.

Thanks for the update. Since it happened again even after a simple test, I think contacting Apple Support is the right next step.

If you can, take screenshots of the restriction before it disappears and again afterward. That may help if they need to escalate it as a Screen Time/Family Sharing sync issue.

Please do post back with what they tell you. It could be useful for others seeing the same behavior.
