Unable to open iBooks PDFs on laptop
using Tahoe 26.6.2 I have stored PDFs in iBooks and can't open on my lap top but can open on iPhone. what has happened?

Check if you can open them in safe mode: Start up your Mac in safe mode – Apple Support (AU)
Then start up in normal mode and try again. Third party apps may be interfering with normal function. pdfs within the Books app open in the designated pdf reader ie Preview.
