Credit card not syncing from iPhone 17 to Apple Watch

Cards do not sync between devices for security and privacy purposes. Please follow this path,

iPhone > Watch > My Watch (tabs at bottom of app) > scroll down > Wallet & Apple Pay > Add Card > follow onscreen prompts.

If you’re also adding cards to Apple Wallet on iPhone and the card is eligible to be added to Apple Watch, you may be prompted on screen to also add the card to your Watch.

yeah I had to add my visa and master card manually on the watch after having added them on the iphone, the guide in my banks webportal had a guide and showed that this was by design at least in case for my bank

Try signing out and back into Messages, then ensure Messages is enabled in iCloud under System Settings ➢ Apple Account ➢ iCloud.

This usually forces a sync with your other Apple devices.
