MacBook Air M2 missing bottom panel, daily use safety

I bought a MacBook Air M2 secondhand. It is missing the bottom panel, and they just put a hard clip on shell. Until I replace the panel is it fine to use daily on solid surfaces and my bed?

You are exposing the battery to being punctured and the very fragile internal components to physical damaged from the rubbing of the case and exposure to contamination from liquids & dirt. Trust me, those snap on cases don't protect the laptop from anything, not even dirt. I also believe those plastic snap on cases rely on the physical aluminum Bottom Case to be present to help hold the plastic case in place.

Follow @TheLittle's advice & return that laptop.

Using Mac without "Bottom Panel":

If you are referring to the bottom shell, then you should just return this. This is not safe, as static would occur, leading to extensive hardware failure, such as dataloss. So, return this.
