If the 5Ghz band did not solve the problem, then you have another networking issue that is interfering. That can be:

• Distance from router or obstructions between the router and HomePod reducing the Signal Strength.
• If you are using a Mesh Network, that can also cause problems and it may help to turn off Private WiFi Address on your linked iPhone.
• If your router has a feature called Fast Roaming, then disable it.
• Band Steering or Smart Connect are features on a router that can direct to the 2.4Ghz band, but creating a 5Ghz only band will prevent that from happening.

Don't use a Hotspot at all and make sure your WiFi Network is using a 5Ghz only network, instead of the multiband 2.4Ghz/5Ghz frequency. You don't want your HomePods/iPhone to connect to the 2.4Ghz frequency because that one has inherent problems with interference and limited channel bandwidth when multiple devices are in the area. It is only still there for backwards compatibility with older devices and not needed at all for your Apple devices.

Did you verify your router is not broadcasting the 2.4Ghz frequency and have set a 5Ghz and connected to that one? You don't want to rely on Band Steering with the TpLink router.

The last HomePod Software update was back in July to OS 26.6. Did you happen to install Beta software?

Same issue, nothing helps. Spent 2 days resetting router, HomePods, anpple tv, home app, dns servers etc. And that problem suddenly happened a few days ago on all my HomePods mini. Hope that next update will fix it.

Yes, connected to 5 always. No betas were installed. Can’t say when it happened, but noticed several day ago. The main thing is that everything was working 3-4 years in a row. I haven’t changed anything, but suddenly Siri went down.
