Google Calendar not syncing between iPhone and MacBook Air

The Google Calendar won't sync between the iPhone and the Mac. Each of those devices syncs to the Google Calendar server. Make sure that you have both devices connected to the same Google Calendar account. Make sure both devices have an active internet connection.
I find that it's often helpful to remove the Google account from both devices then add it back.
