Why won’t my MacBook Air charge?

• Have you checked the battery condition?
• Have you inspected the hardware?
• Have you let it cool down?
• Have you cleaned the port?
• Have you used a different cable?
• Have you used a different power adapter?
• Have you used a different AC wall adapter?
• Have you used a different power outlet?
• Have you checked for line noise?
• Have you left it plugged in for a while?
• Have you run diagnostics?
• If all these fail, have you considered having your Mac serviced?

If the chargers work on other devices and have the power required to charge the Mac, then I would be suspicious that the detailed work to replace the battery and the "usb board" resulted in the computer not being restored to a condition where it will work.

I think sberman has provided excellent step by step guidance. But that guidance presumes properly working hardware. I suspect that your hardware has been compromised during the previous repair work. Who did that repair work.

So when you say you changed the battery what exactly do you mean? Did you do it yourself? Did Apple do it? Did a third party repair shop do it? If you or a third party repair changed the battery then something may have been messed up like an internal cable not properly seated.
