iPhone front camera freezes during video recording and deletes videos

so I have encountered this weird bug on my iPhone. I was filming a video with my front camera for over a good 15 mins. the camera started acting up in way where it would just freeze, keep the video timer going, but after stopping the recording and going to see it in the gallery, it was not there anymore. it also deleted other videos filmed before the freeze, but during that 15 minute period. is there any way to fix it????

Has this happened, again? or is it a one-off?

What is your storage on this iPhone? At Settings>General>iPhone Storage, my phone says 50.5 GB of 128 GB used. What does yours say?

At Settings>Battery, what do Battery Health, Maximum Capacity, and Cycle Count say?

You should try a forced restart:

Force restart iPhone - Apple Support

This is different from a simple Power Off. I had to continue holding the button down 5 or 10 seconds past the "slide to power off" message, and then I released the button only after the Apple Logo appeared indicating a re-start.
