Other links open when I attempt to open a link in my browser?

Are you using any Safari extensions that might explain that behavior?

Be advised that installing Safari extensions on your iPhone (for example) will make it available on all your Apple devices.

You would need to give an example of a link. Any link can include redirects to open other sites and also a link can be for something completely different than its name. For example I named this one Microsoft and it opens at Apple.
EXAMPLE: I opened a link from my email with buyTavio.com. It directed me to this link - mknyzn-c3.myshopify.com. I clicked on this link, and a completely different link popped up for insurance. I had to close that link. When I did, the original link I was needing was behind it.
