MacBook Neo - Tech Specs - Apple

That refers to the supported refresh rate for an external monitor.

I do not believe that Apple publishes the refresh rate for the internal screen anywhere – although it seems possible that System Settings > Displays or the Utilities > System Information application might reveal the information.

However, Apple says that the MacBook Neo has a Retina display with these characteristics:

  • 13.0-inch (diagonal) LED-backlit display with IPS technology
  • 2408-by-1506 native resolution at 219 pixels per inch
  • 500 nits brightness

That high pixel density lets the MacBook Neo draw letters more accurately, and fill photo areas in more detail, thus resulting in greater sharpness. The MacBook Neo supports at most 4K resolution on an external display, and from this we can figure out that any external 4K display larger than 20.1" would have lower pixel density than the built-in screen on the MacBook Neo.
