Signing on to Claude.ai.dmg

I just purchased Claude Pro on my I Pad- now i want to have it sync onto my Mac Book Air. However when after I download the Claudeai.dmg I get another request for Sign in with Apple and when I use my email address it says that I am using the wrong Email- what is happening?
