17 years old and I am the only person in my family with an Apple device. I need help.

I can't do anything I'd like to do without adding my account to an Apple Family, however I don't know how to do that when everyone else in my family are android users.

What can I do? I don't know what I can do that I won't potentially get in trouble for (lying about age.)

I've tried looking online for answers but I can't find any. I also looked beforehand if I could create an account at 17, and it said I could. I did not see anything that mentioned requiring a family group.

You should be able to purchase apps (though not subscriptions) with Apple Gift Cards.

1) It won't let me purchase the apps I want to purchase without being in a family.

2) I bought it with the intention of using it for art and animation, however the apps I would be using require purchasing them to use. (Procreate and Toonsquid, if it helps.)
