I recently purchased an iPad mini and am trying to pair my Beat Buds X1 with it. The iPad doesn’t recognize my earbuds as discoverable. My software is up to date. I put the earbuds in pairing mode but my they won’t appear under devices. Can someone help?

To pair your wireless earbuds (such as Beats Studio Buds or a similar model) with your iPad, turn on Bluetooth in Settings > Bluetooth, place the earbuds inside the charging case, open the lid, and press and hold the system/pairing button until the LED light flashes. When the setup animation or device name appears on your iPad screen, tap to connect.
