A quick google search returned this info:

Editing MIDI Pitch with a Keyboard in Logic Pro.

  • Open the Piano Roll by double-clicking your MIDI region.
  • Find the MIDI In button (it looks like a small MIDI port icon) in the top control bar of the Piano Roll.
  • Click the MIDI In button twice so it turns on and shows a highlighted or filled icon.
  • Select the note or notes you want to change inside the Piano Roll grid.
  • Play the new desired key on your physical MIDI keyboard. The selected note moves instantly to the new pitch.
