Resolved 90-day iTunes/Music transfer on refurbished MacBook Pro
I have seen more than one post where users must sometimes wait 90 days before their refurbished Macs' iTunes accounts can be transferred from the previous user's account. I could not play my iTunes music and was asked to press the "Transfer" button to request that my account be transferred to my "new" MacBook pro, which, again, would take 90 days.
I experienced this problem, but it was resolved by speaking with various Apple Support personnel via online conversations, the most recent of whom was able to "reset the system," as she put it. Afterwards, all I had to do was quit iTunes (Music) then sign in again. I was able to play my music in iTunes Match immediately and without waiting 90 days.
