Keynote/Pages won't stop showing unavoidable splash screen at startup.

When opening Keynote or Pages I'm always greeted with the (unavoidable) splash screen that reads: "What's New in Keynote/Pages". Doesn't matter if there was an update or not, and regardless of whether I click through options to see what they are it appears the next time I open the app.

For several months it was only happening on my Mac Mini desktop, but now my Macbook Air is doing it as well.

It is a minor inconvenience, but it is annoying as **** and so unnecessary. Does anyone know how to make this madness end?

Mac mini, macOS 26.5

Thank you kindly for your thoughtful reply. :-)

It may be that Apple is looking for subscribers to the paid versions of these apps (ie: included in the Apple Creator Studio) while still allowing us to freely use and update the free versions on our Macs.

As Apple users, like yourself, in the community, we can not make changes to Apple's apps.

If you wish: You might want to send feedback to reach those who work on the software behind-the-scenes at Apple. They will likely not reply, yet your feedback will be carefully read and logged. If others are also reporting a similar issue, we may see it addressed in a future update.
