Yale Linus 2 Matter lock fails to add to Apple Home app

I own a Yale Linus 2 lock, and many other smart devices that support matter.

My wifi is a mesh system by Linksys (MBE7000)

The lock works fine on with its own app, but no matte what I try, I cant add the lock to the apple home app.

it fails after 1-2 min of trying to connect. wifi signal shows as good on the Yale app.

I have tried to disable all advance option on the mesh system. had the Apple TV (my home hub.a pple TV 4K 3rd generation ) wires q wifi connected. disabled all other nodes but the primary one during connection. disconnected / connected the back hull switch. tried to disable the 6/5 hrz . also disabled gust network.

all firmware is updated to the last one.

nothing works.

any suggestion?

(I do follow the instructions, initiate the process from the Yale app, don't use the QR, only the code provided by the app)

Deactivate VPNs and iCloud Private Relay on your iPhone. This is the most common reason Matter pairings timeout after exactly 1 to 2 minutes on an otherwise perfectly configured network. Since Matter communicates locally using encrypted network handshakes, these privacy tools block the crucial discovery tunnels between Apple Home and the lock.
