Apple Music Family Sharing access not showing for friend

So I’m trying to add my friend to my family sharing plan for them to get to use Apple Music but on my side it’s saying it’s shared with him and he has access to it

but on his side it isn’t coming up and he’s still see the options to purchase for himself popping up

how can I fix that
