Can Focus obey event times in only ONE calendar when set for "Until the end of this event"?

when i enable a Focus (whether on Mac or shared iPhone) and select the option "Until the end of this event" - it's ending too soon based on a calendar event that's in a shared calendar that's hidden/not-viewed, that i only have for reference (ie: is a spouses calendar). so i enable the focus for one of MY calendar events but it's ended too soon because my spouse has an event at the same time but that ends sooner.

seems to me that if i have other calendars un-checked, then when i set a focus based on an event in my calendar, it should not stop based on a different calendars event. but i can't figure out how to set that behavior - is it possible?

No, it is not currently possible to restrict the native "Until the end of this event" Focus feature to scan only a single calendar.

When you manually activate a Focus and choose "Until the end of this event," Apple's operating system checks your device's global database for any event occurring at that exact moment. It does not respect the checkbox visibility or hidden status of individual calendars inside the Calendar app. If your spouse's hidden event matches your current time but ends earlier, the Focus logic latches onto that earlier timestamp and terminates prematurely.
