Logic Pro 12.3.1 cannot automatically resolve existing audio files in older projects

Hi, I worked on Sequoia 15.4.1 Logic Pro 11.1.2 and I made the unfortunate decision to upgrade to Tahoe 26.6.1

When I opened my projects (I tried multiple) in the same Logic Pro version I had, audio files could not be resolved so I upgraded Logic to Logic Pro 12.3.1 but that did not solve the problem either.

Logic reports an audio file as missing even though the file exists at the exact path stored in the project. Choosing "Search" successfully finds the file immediately. However, Logic then presents the same dialog for the next missing file, requiring Search to be clicked individually for every file. There can be dozens or hundreds of files.

If I manually locate one file, Logic recognizes it and its associated takes immediately and I locate it at the exact directory it said it didn't find it under the exact name!

The files can be opened successfully from Finder/Terminal, and their paths and capitalization exactly match the paths reported by Logic.

All files are on the local disk - not an external disk.

This happens in all my projects. I can no longer work on my projects so I am completely stuck. Sort of a hellish situation. I do have Time Machine so I am wondering if I should go back because I want to continue my work today.

This is the message appearing for each file however they are there in the shown folder

Yes, the file is RIGHT THERE! and when I locate it, it just goes on to the next file on that same directory.

If I press "Search" it finds it and moves to the next file.

I wish there was a "Search ALL" button that would at least allow me to work.

This is what is looks like when I open the Project Audio. Initially all files are unfound. As I find each one or search for each one, they appear while the ones I didn't are not found.

Very frustrating. I hope you have a quick solution for me.

HELP!

A Solution:

I was able to set up an Apple technician to call (Yes, apparently that's possible) and he managed to solve the problem. Here's what he told me to do:

Open System -> Privacy and Security Files and Folders

See if you have Logic Pro there with Full Disk Access. I did not. If you also do not then do the following:

Go to System Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Full Disk Access

If you do not have Logic Pro there click the '+'

You will be prompted with a password so type it in.

Then choose Logic Pro and open it.

That solved it for me, I hope this is helpful for you too.

Thank you Apple for solving my issue.
