1980s Books indexing issues STILL.

When is Books going to be cleaned up? The search and indexing work fine if you have less than twenty books but is a nightmare if you have hundreds. Surely after 10 years Apple could use some of that brilliant new AI ability to do a better job of grouping ALL of the books by the same Author. Not dividing 20 books by one author into 6+ different groups!!!

A better job of indexing by alphabetical order. Not some by first name and some by last name, in the same list!!! Seems that massive technical problem was solved by the rest of the CSE community back in the 1980s.

The whole Library search experience is a mess. Far too often, the user is shunted off to the store when looking for a book that is supposed to be in the library.

The whole "downloaded" vs on device thing is so 1995. We have the memory now to be able to download and ALWAYS KEEP ALL of the books purchased on device. Stop using that old issue as another excuse to shunt users off to the book store.
