MacBook Neo has no sound

Go to  → System Settings → Sound → Output and select the Mac’s built-in speakers.

Make sure Output volume is turned up and Mute is off. (Apple Support)

Disconnect any headphones, external speakers, displays, or other audio devices temporarily, then check Sound → Output again. (Apple Support)

Try playing audio from another application or website to determine whether the problem occurs with all audio or only one source.

If the built-in speakers are selected but there is still no sound, open Applications → Utilities → Audio MIDI Setup.

Check whether the Mac's speakers appear under Audio Devices. Apple also provides instructions for selecting an audio device for sound output there. (Apple Support)

Quick check: System Settings->Sound->Output->verify Neo speakers are selected

Shut down the computer.

Then reboot and reevaluate, including checking the sound settings in System Settings.
