I just got the MacBook Neo and there’s this voice like Siri . Every time I type she repeats the letters or what ever I’m looking up . It will not turn off what I do . Please help . I have to go on mute so it will stop
Have you somehow invoked the speak text feature of your Mac?
Check the System Settings > Accessibility > Read & Speak.
See if "Speak Typing Feedback" is turned ON. If it is, you can toggle it OFF there.

On macOS 26, first press ⌘ + F5 to turn VoiceOver off.
If your Mac has Touch ID, hold Command and quickly press Touch ID three times. (Apple Support)
If it continues, go to >> System Settings >> Accessibility >> Read & Speak >> Speak typing feedback and turn off Echo characters and Echo words. (Apple Support)
If VoiceOver is on but you want to keep it, go to VoiceOver Utility >> Verbosity >> Text >> While typing speak and choose Nothing. (Apple Support)
