Want to delete App Store app, can't find a way

How can I delete Amphetamine (stop laptop from sleeping during video streaming) from my laptop? From App Store downloaded to MacBook Pro Tahoe 26. Open session, Icon not found in Menu Bar. Shows up in Activity Monitor but not in Force Quit. When I try to delete, drag from Application to Trash or Rt Clk Move to Trash I’m told No, App is Open. Under Package Contents | Mac OS I’m able to Quit but still can’t delete. Something is not working. HELP!

Since Amphetamine is still showing in Activity Monitor, I’d quit it there rather than from inside Package Contents.

Open Activity Monitor, select Amphetamine, click the Stop button at the top, then choose Quit. If it won’t quit, use Force Quit. Apple specifically recommends Activity Monitor for stopping apps or background processes that don’t appear in the regular Force Quit window. Quit an app or process in Activity Monitor on Mac - Apple Support

Once it’s no longer listed in Activity Monitor, try moving Amphetamine from Applications to the Trash again.

If macOS still says it’s open, restart the Mac and try deleting it before launching Amphetamine. Apple also suggests Safe Mode when an app can’t be deleted because it’s still reported as in use. Delete or uninstall apps on Mac - Apple Support

Thanks much for the assist here. Worked like a charm. Now I just need that workaround to stop laptop from sleeping during video streaming. In System Settings I even set the Inactivity to 2hrs but Screen Saver still pops up with dialogue running underneath, crazy.
