GarageBand grand piano virtual instrument octave designation is one octave too low

Hello, I am using the grand piano virtual instrument in Garageband. Each octave of the virtual instrument, beginning with C, is designated with C0, C1, C2 etc. However, the designation is one octave off, i.e. one octave too low. That means that C4 is shown as C3, C3 is shown as C2, etc. This is in accordance with Scientific Pitch Notation. Does anyone else see this as an issue?
