Accessing apps purchased vista the Apple subscription service
i cant access The Rest Is Politics website because i subscribed via Apple and they don't recognise my email

If you subscribed through the App Store, the website may not know you by your regular email address.
I’d first check whether you used Sign in with Apple and chose Hide My Email. Go to Settings > [your name] > Sign in with Apple and look for The Rest Is Politics. If it’s listed, check which email address was provided to them. It may be an address ending in `@privaterelay.appleid.com`.
If the subscription is active under Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions but the website still won’t recognize the account, you’ll likely need to contact the app/service developer so they can link the Apple subscription to the correct account.
