Can't sign into iTunes on my iMac

How do I sign into iTunes on my old iMac? I have a late 2013 iMac and I am putting my music on it for now until my other computer is fixed, but it won't let me sign in to use all of the features because my account has two-factor authentication so the iMac throws up a "Wrong Password" error while it sends an activation code to my iPhone.

That usually happens on older versions of iTunes that don’t show a separate field for the two-factor authentication code.

Try signing in again with your Apple Account password immediately followed by the six-digit verification code sent to your iPhone, with no spaces. For example, if your password is example and the code is 123456, enter example123456 in the password field.

If that still gives you a wrong-password message, post which macOS and iTunes versions are installed on the 2013 iMac.
