Logic Pro tied sales to Creative Studio is both a violation of EU consumer rights laws and 100% pure theft for those who already purchased software.

The US store offers subscriptions for Logic Pro for iPad:

My Mac is full of software I neither want nor need: Pages, Numbers, Chess, Garage Band...... I could go on. I don't expect Apple to build a bespoke machine just for me - and if they did it would probably cost more.

You bought Logic Pro for your Mac, not your iPad and the software for iPad is part of a different bundle. That's hardly rare in the PC/Tablet/phone world. Some companies allow app subs to transfer across devices and some don't.

If you want to get Apple's attention then send them a letter from your lawyer.

This is a user-to-user tech support forum. No one here 1) knows why Apple made this decision, 2) is qualified to comment on the legality or ethics, or 3) has the power to fire anyone at Apple.

I would add that Apple has an extremely good, extremely large team of lawyers. They have been dealing with the EU for a long time. I don't think they need you to "warn them" about anything.

I didn't say they were. However, their job is to keep the company out of legal trouble. They know that law far better than you do. Whether you agree with their approach or not, I doubt they are interested in your "warning."

But my question was if someone found a way around this scam.

Buy different software. That's generally what people do if a product doesn't meet their needs.
